Synthetic and ready to use Polishing Ground Powder for an easier and time-saving water-gilding. Advantage of this system is better dosage according to your requirements and the shelf life. Compared to commercially available burnishing clay (wet or dry), the Polishing Ground needs no paste application.
The gilding requires some expert knowledges, skill and practice. For those who do not have the experience in this gilding technique, this kind of system were specially developed.
Gerstendörfer Polishing Ground Powder will be mixed in the ratio 1:1 with distilled water. After a short rest, the polishing ground can be applied (in cold state) with a soft brush.
